What amenities are included in the glamping pod?

Our glamping pod, Snuggle Doon, is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. It includes a double bed, sofa and seating area, dining table and chairs, kitchenette with fridge, sink and two-ring electric hob, en-suite shower room, heating, and Wi-Fi. The pod is privately positioned with beautiful views over Loch Eck.

Are pets allowed in the pod?

Yes — well-behaved dogs are welcome at Snuggle Doon. We ask that pets are kept under control, not left unattended, and kept off furniture to help maintain the pod for all guests. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a dog.

The surrounding area offers excellent walking routes, making it ideal for guests travelling with dogs.

Do I need prior experience to take part in the activities?

No prior experience is required. All activities can be tailored to suit beginners through to experienced participants, with guidance and instruction provided where appropriate.

What activities can I book during my stay?

Guests can enjoy a range of outdoor experiences including fishing on Loch Eck, guided deer stalking, rifle shooting, and photography breaks or courses. Activities can be arranged to suit your interests, availability, and the season.

Is rifle shooting suitable for beginners?

Yes. Rifle shooting sessions are suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced shots. Tuition and target practice are available, with safety and enjoyment always the priority.

Where are the experiences located?

Fishing and photography experiences take place locally around Loch Eck. Deer stalking is offered across the Cowal Peninsula, with locations selected to suit conditions, season, and experience level. Some activities may involve a short drive.
